Formulation

Foxglove flower essence helps to soothe the heart allowing fluidity and movement, boundaries, and protection. In folk magic foxgloves are used for protection from witchcraft and the evil eye. Poisons are often thought to be the strongest herbs for magical protection. In reading more on Foxglove essence I came across the term “heart stopping trauma” and that this essence was used directly for that experience. I though this was a wonderful and direct equivalent to the potency of this plant. Foxgloves are used in Bach flower essence therapy to help resolve feeling confused, lost, directionless, and stuck. I feel this essence can support those who feel that there is a lock on their heart, or that there is such emotional trauma in the heart space that there needs to be a powerful source of energy that moves through the heart chakra to reopen this space once again.

Ritual

Spray this blend around yourself and in spaces that need spiritual support. Use daily, before bed, or as needed to begin to shift perception and allow new pathways of thought and reason to open.

Ingredients

All flower essences are made in a 1oz spray bottle a 50/50 dilution of vodka and local spring water, vegetable glycerin, an essential oil of intuitive choice, a healing stone within the bottle such as rose quartz, and flowers from the gardens here at Mountain Hollow. Spray essence on self when needed, clothing, linens, or in spaces which you feel you need more support. You may even keep the bottle near you and the energetic vibrations will effect your space without opening the bottle. Flower essences are a dilution gentle enough for children and pets.

Available in a 1 oz cobalt blue glass spray bottle. Please repurpose or recycle glass.

A note on poisonous plant essences…

“Flower essences use only a infinitesimal quantity of the plant substance. In that way, they are similar to homeopathic remedies. These energetic remedies rely on the imprint of the subtle energy pattern of the plant, rather than on the biochemical constituents, which are below detectable amounts in the stock bottles (the first dilution from the mother essence.)
