You will leave with a newfound understanding on what it means to work and heal through the plant world as well as new mindset tools on how to stand in your purpose with confidence and strength. In exchange students are required to support Mountain Hollow with maintaining the gardens, processing herbs, supporting in new creative projects and ideas, cleaning and organizing the apothecary, completing all assignments and sharing their findings with Diana in weekly meetings in person or via zoom. This internship is best during the fall semester but accommodations can be made for spring semester.

and so much more.
For folks wanting to learn more.
For those who simply wish to work with Diana in her gardens and apothecary for the purposes of advancing their knowledge in herbalism, green witchery, strengthening intuition, medicine making, building an apothecary, running a small business from home, and just working and learning in the gardens, we welcome all the help we can get.
Typically this would look like someone who would help Diana with daily projects such as gardening, planting, weeding, watering, harvesting, drying, processing, bottling, creating tinctures, herbal infused body oils, creating labels, cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing the apothecary, updating inventory, meditating with plants, and enjoying the land and spaces for healing. In exchange for learning how to practice and do all of these things from Diana. An extra bonus would be a partial exchange for healing and/or craniosacral sessions as well.
The months between May and September are when we need help the most. We have goals to expand the herbal gardens and spaces for workshops and retreats so we always have things we are working on to complete those goals. Diana also has a wealth of knowledge on all things marketing and design for creating your own business, so this is another part of what you can learn from working with her.

Medicine Making
Here at Mountain Hollow we formulate and infuse herbal body oils, glycerites, tinctures, salves, and luscious body butters all from our plants grown right here in our gardens. From seeding, to planting and tending, to the ethical and loving harvest we create our healing medicines from seed to products. Our home is solar powered and all packaging is recyclable or compostable, including labels.
Garden
Our herbal garden grows larger every year. We have been building a large medicinal herb bed that weaves into our vegetable garden with the intention of sharing the knowledge of the plants with our clients, building healthy soils to grow healthier plants, and giving others the opportunity to spend time with the plants in person for healing and educational purposes.
Apothecary
Our growing apothecary sits on the second floor of our 1850s farmhouse which is used to dry, process, and store all of our herbs. This is also the place where we make out medicine, our salves, and our herbal oils. We have a beautiful and large library of book on medical herbalism and healing herbs for furthering education. We sell all of our products here and online.
