Falling near the first new moon in the new year when the moon enters Pisces, this full day Reiki 1 Certification attunes you into the gentle yet powerful life force energy of an ancient hands on healing technique and a healing modality that can be incorporated within any professional field.
This course will cover the history of Reiki and its origins, you will learn the three reiki meditations, reiki principles and precepts, ethics of hands on healing and the healing power of intention. We will look at the physical bodies energetic field and how to recognize where energy may be in need of gentle release, as well as the in depth functions of the seven chakras. You will learn about herbs that calm the nervous system and support in dispelling symptoms of trauma and anxiety. We will talk about plant medicine for protection and support for empaths including methods to bring into daily practice such as herbal body oiling and burning herbs for protection and cleansing. Each attunement includes a shamanic journey to animal guides, spirit guides, ancestors, and/or plants to support you on this healing journey.
Lunch is included (offering gluten free and vegan options) as well as a binder with all course materials to refer back to in the future, notebook paper and pen for note taking, starter self-care materials, and a printed certificate once complete. Hot herbal tea and snacks will be offered as well.
