Medicine Bags

These medicine bags are incredibly custom to each individual receiving one. From the medicinal plants I place in the bags, to the stones, crystals, feathers and the symbols on the bag itself. Each card that comes with the bag includes a clairvoyant personal reading as well as a description of the healing properties of the bag itself.

I bless them with the beat of my horse medicine drum, infuse them with reiki energy, smoke and charge them. The purpose of these bags is to empower the receiver to move forward on their healing journey in support and assistance. Some issues they assist with could be moving through grief, releasing old patterns, moving into a new journey, releasing fear, self love, compassion, as well as assisting healers in their deep work as they move through the process of healing others.

Diana, thank you so much for sharing your spirit and for what you do to help others on their journey. ♡

My ancestors carried medicine bags for healing purposes and were either carried or given to others in need of good health and healing. There are many traditional types of medicinal bags, baskets, and even scrolls rich within our worlds history. The purpose of these bags for myself is to hear the call to make the bags, follow my ancestral voice and pass these bags to others with love and compassion in hopes to empower others to begin their healing and awakening journey.

Although the Medicine Bag tradition originates from the First Nation peoples of North America, out of respect for the tribes either nearest and dear to me or distant from me, I will not say these are Native American made. I will say rather that they are made from my deepest intuitive and ancestral self. I have been fortunate in this lifetime to relearn many sacred traditions and continue to practice them while I research deeply into a culture with a history that was taken and rewritten.

Read more details on the process of making the bags in a recent article published in Nabalo Magazine HERE.

Diana, it has taken me a few days to even respond to your tremendous act of pure kindness. To say I was blown away is an understatement. Thank you- you have no idea how much your words, let alone your medicine bag, meant to me. How did you know what I am going through? One thing that gives meaning to life is a beautiful and caring act from another human- so thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Dear Diana, thank you so much for the great medicine bag! I love and it brings me a lot of new and special energy. It was amazing: I hung it around my neck and the energy feels so powerful that I could feel it in my whole body.

Interested in holding a Medicine Bag Workshop in your space?

The workshop will cover everything from the basic history of medicine bags, the intuitive process while making them, adorning and placing sacred objects within the bag and the healing properties that reveal themselves.

We will discuss intuition and how to widen your own for healing purposes, how stones communicate, and how the spiritual, vibrational, and emotional healing you are needing becomes available to you as you work with your wider self. We will touch upon how we can empower others when we open our hearts to our own healing work and begin sharing this with compassion as well as the shamanic channeling that comes through in my process making these bags.

At a very early age, I began learning sacred Native American traditions and have continued to honor this all my life. I researched immensely into Native American culture while achieving my masters degree and found that my draw to the culture had a connection to my heart and soul. After receiving permission from a member of the Yaqui tribe to make the medicine bags I began only a few years ago in this new found healing work.

This workshop generally lasts two to three hours and starting cost is $40 per person which includes one 2x4 size medicine bag, crystals, dried herbs and feathers from Diana’s personal collection. Other medicine bag size options are available as well as ordering more than one bag per person, please inquire if interested in alternative options. Bring your sentimental stones or objects that you may want to add to the bag. This is an enlightening and empowering workshop that is meant to lift your spirits up and leave with a tool to carry you forward on your journey. View the workshop outline HERE.

Minimum of 5 attendees for this workshop. If traveling more than 20 miles beyond the town of Craftsbury is required an additional travel fee of $50 will be added to the cost. Payment is required two weeks before the date of your event.
