Cleansing Boundaries for Spaces

Let’s take a moment and talk about the very subtle ways in which we can practice the ritual of spirit and energetic boundaries in our spaces.

This image in my kitchen shows not only the main corner that faces the entry way of my house but also is the boundary to the entry of my apothecary. What do you see here? How does the energy of this image feel to you? How many spirit protectors can you find?

Just in this small space are multiple and intentional energetic and meaningful objects placed for clearing, protection, and to share a subtle but potent boundary that clearly states, “this space is protected and sacred” and also these items are intentional to deflect any kind of harmful energy that may attempt to pass.

When we think of boundaries we tend to think mostly of the big acts and behaviors we must tend to for inner work, but there are also the subtle ways in which we tend to our spaces and ourselves every day that are essential to build the foundation of the bigger, inner work.

I live in a very old home on land that holds thick history, some of which is heavy and downright dark. But that’s not from the land, or nature. It’s always human made, an energetic imprint of trauma. You see, when we begin to remove these layers by tending and clearing daily with the intention of true sacred space, we open up the gateway for nature and all the compassionate, loving spirits to return just as they should. This is when the real magick begins, and the first symptom of your good work in doing this is when folks walk into your space and simply begin to release held emotions without you saying or doing anything. This happens because you’ve begun to truly hold space in its authentic regulating frequency.

This is one of the many important topics we will discuss in my new course Unbound & Unfuckwithable: Boundaries for Spiritual Practitioners. Learn more and join me for a six week journey to offer you support in navigating the spirit and energies of the unseen.
