Poisonous Plants as Allies

When I talk to folks about poisonous plants there is a physical recoil, a visceral fear that comes up for most. That initial response is what perked my interest many years ago when I had come to a point of needing to up-level my boundary work. I remember thinking…wow, these plants really scare people and actually keep people off of land and away from places. I began to realize that plants such as the carrot family, like hogweed and even angelica, made folks turn and go another way. That felt so powerful to me.

So I began my journey in poisonous plant work by connecting to the consciousness of poison ivy. As it turned out I synchronistically needed it’s protection when I unknowingly came across a very intense energy just outside of my property. Because I had just exchanged consciousness and created a connection to poison ivy, it’s frequency remained in my biofield (my energy field or aura) and therefore appeared when I needed it the most. This experience left me astonished and so deeply grateful for what this experience brought forth. A newfound understanding in coexisting with these powerful plants, safely but still in a very powerful and effective way.

In the past I’ve felt intimidated by Datura, although a very beloved plant family, I felt the energy of this plant was very strong. But lately my dreams have been giving me messages that it’s time to uplevel once again and datura has come forth. I now have two baby datura plants growing well and will place them in the greenhouse to flourish and support the energetic, subtle, yet potent boundaries of this land.

Together in my new course Unbound & Unfuckwithable: Boundaries for the Spiritual Practitioner, we will dive into how to create a safe relationship to these plants and begin to understand how the exchange of energy with poisonous boundary plants can offer you such incredible protection on your journey as a holistic practitioner, seer, oracle, hedge witch, and those who are deeply psychic. Is there already a poisonous plant that is coming forth for you?
