Tincture Making

Come learn how to safely and successfully make your own medicinal tinctures during peak growing season with Marielle Fisher from Dharma Herbs and Wellness.

We will ground in with a plant meditation before mixing up two tinctures together utilizing different methods of medicine making; the folk method and the more scientific. This experiential class will offer the opportunity to sample several different tinctures while we learn to preserve our green allies. Participants will leave with detailed worksheets so they can clearly replicate the process on their own and have questions answered along the way.

This work shop was offered by Marielle Fisher of Dharma Herbs and Wellness. Marielle is an ecological herbalist and certified Biofield Tuner thankful to roam the hills of northern Vermont. She’s passionate about cultivating health by weaving ancient wisdom with modern modalities.

Upon receiving her first few Biofield Tuning sessions, she was elated by the level of clarity experienced. She trained with the founder, Eileen McCusick, soon after, and is now on the path to becoming a teacher of the modality.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in ecological agriculture from the University of Vermont, she loved the two years spent studying herbalism with the Gaia School of Healing and Earth Education. She’s a certified permaculture designer, and is currently apprenticing with a shamanic healer in northern Vermont.

She is deeply interested in how traditional foods align with local nutrition, and is grateful to draw upon the teachings of the Liberate School and the 200 hour yoga teacher training she completed as well. Her offerings as an herbalist are rooted with plants which are most available and abundant in this bioregion, and she would love to share a cup of tea with you.
